After some time i was informed that i and other two person had predicted the correct figures and we shall be given a Audi Q2 weekend !! i was wondering what it was !! Well after that i had gone for a meditation course of Art of living in Bangalore and returned after Navaratri/Dasera celebrations after a month, then i received a call that i shall be given a Audi Q3 with chauffeur Prakash for a weekend and i can take wherever i can inside the city limits.
And the Audi Q3 arrived at my place in Mumbai on 24th Nov'12 in the morning and I decided that i shall take the car to town side first and took the route from kurla towards the Bandra-Worli sealink and via worli seaface too the haji ali route and took it Banganga in south Mumbai
Well after going to Banganga and visiting temples nearby me and prakash,took the car via babulnath and towards marine drive spent sometime there and hen headed towards gateway of India, in gateway of India,the cops stopped us and asked for papers since it was a demo car ,after checking the papers he let us go as we were in order,after gateway of India, we took the car towards end of Mumbai, yep near Afghan church and end towards the defence area, aftervisiting that area,we came towards V.T station and then came towards Marine Drive again and took the route to Haji Ali, worli nak route and came to Bandra Lands End ,spent some time there around that area and headed towards juhu beach and returned to Bandra West and
via the eastern express highway and via BKC came home in the evening.
Well while being in the car and being driven, i had been in other cars in my life like maruti baleno and hyundai accent or honda wagon r or honda city, and merc benz but THIS WAS SOME CAR while i thought WE DONT TRAVEL WITH BUT CRUISE WITH !!! i did not feel the tired at all being in the car for a whole day.
After saying goodbye to prakash in evening since i had some other work ,he told me i shall come tomorrow.
And on 25th the car came and i decided that i shall take the car on the north side of Mumbai to Madh Island. Prakash Came to my house in the morning as decided and i decided to take my Father along with me.
After spending some time in the church in the morning ,i spent some little time in Madh Island. Since childhood and living in Mumbai we used to go for picnics twice in a year over there.
After that we headed towards aksha beach
,then the marve beach route,then take the route that goes towards Gorai Jetty ,again the traffic cops stopped us and asked for papers and after showing the relevant document everything was in order, they enquired about the cars price and was very impressed with it.. While one the way the people reactions of seeing such a car was very amusing, since the car had a Map of India on both the sides of the car. After that we we towards Dahisar and take U turn before heading towards Film City in Goregaon East
it was a very green area and felt very pleasant going thro these roads in Mumbai,after that we came thro the Aarey colony road and came to Powai .
and above are some of the photos taken on the route, before heading towards Hiranandani Gardens in Powai and returning back home in the evening.
Prakash was driving in a calm and controlled manner and is a good driver and on the way on enquiring about the car was explaining the workings of the car. Being automatic transmission is very cool since there is no clucth mechanism. Both days was a WOW experience and thought how blessed person who might be owning Audi Cars and should know the importance and value of owning such a vehicle!!.
